Lina is a senior in the Plastics and Composites Engineering program at Western Washington University. She intends to go to graduate school to further pursue her education studying polymer science. Her research over the past three years has focused on the development of materials and processes for matrices used in aerospace composites, specifically flame retardant formulations for aircraft interiors. She is advised by Dr. John Misasi.
