Biography
Jessica Davison is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Southern Mississippi, in the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials. Her research focuses on the mitigation of corrosion and water management utilizing nanocomposites that are comprised of hydrogel nanoparticles in thermoplastic and thermoset resins. She received her B.S. of Chemistry Research degree from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, with guidance of Dr. George Bennett and Dr. Anne Rammelsberg in the area of green synthesis of Diels-Alder adducts to undergo ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) to produce conjugated polymers.
