Structure-Property Relationships of Polymers in Coatings
Abstract:
An overview of some important polymer-coatings performance relationships will be presented. Polymer structure-property relationships play an important, yet often overlooked role, in the processing, application, film formation, and final coating film property development. The review will place in context demands and material ratios for coating design that impact future performance parameters often difficult to anticipate during common laboratory evaluation.
